Senior Engineer / Engineer – Hardware Design

Job Description: We are looking for professional Hardware Design Engineers to execute complete embedded hardware design projects.

  • Idea conception, design, development, and verification and validation of embedded systems.
  • Capture requirements and prepare specifications.
  • Circuit Design / Schematic capture.
  • Compiling data sheets of the selected components to confirm suitability to the design requirements and availability for long term support.
  • Preparation of Relevant documents such as: System Requirement Specifications, Bill of Material, Preliminary / Critical Design Review documents, Design Documents, Acceptance Test Plan, Quality Assurance Plan documents.
  • Interact and co-ordinate with Mechanical & PCB Design group.
  • Gerber verification.
  • Logic design / implementation on Programmable devices such as PLDs, FPGAs.
  • Interactions / reviews with the customer.
  • Coordinate with software teams on design and development of product.
  • Work with software teams on device bring-up and software development.
  • Prepare technical content for documentation of the entire design process.
  • B.E / B.Tech with Electronics and Communication (ECE), Electronics and Instrumentation (EI).
  • Hardware design experience with 16/32/64-bit Micro Controllers and Processors from vendors like Freescale, TI, Microchip, NXP etc.
  • Domain experience on Analog/Digital/ Mixed Signal designs.
  • Compiling data sheets of the selected components to confirm suitability to the design requirements and availability for long term support.
  • Logic Design experience of CPLD, FPFA from vendors like Xilinx, Altera, Lattice, Microsemi etc.
  • Hands on experience in various communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, PCIe etc.
  • Memory Interfaces like DDR2/3/4, NAND, NOR Flash, SRAM etc.
  • Experience in component selection and BOM cost optimization.
  • Hands on experience with schematics capture and tools like Allegro / OrCAD, PCB design guideline setting, board file and gerber review.
  • Guiding and closely working with PCB layout Engineers.
  • Knowledge of Thermal Analysis, Signal Integrity (Hyperlynx).
  • Knowledge of Board bring up, debugging and Troubleshooting, Familiarity with using Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, and other Lab tools.
  • Experience in Military Lifecycle Processes and standards such as EMI/EMC and Environmental Testing Standards.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.

PCB Design Engineer

Job Description: This position will be responsible for Schematic Entry, Schematic Capture and PCB Layout Design and associated PCB Manufacturing deliverables for electronic products.

  • Preparation of component library as per the required package of the component.
  • Maintaining & updating the database of the component footprint library for ease of PCB design
  • Schematic creation, Schematic symbol creation, PCB footprint creation, Constraint setting, Placement, Routing & Gerber release.
  • Conversion of Schematics to PCB layout. Netlist import, library management and foot print verification
  • Generation of Netlist, layer stack, component silk screens etc.
  • Create and verify Gerber files for PCB manufacturing.
  • Work with Design team to ensure optimal component placement as well as meeting any specific routing requirements.
  • Gerber version change control mechanism
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Complete understanding of PCB Layout process
  • Well versed with Cadence Allegro and Orcad tools for PCB layout and Schematics capture and should be able to use the tool independently

QC Mechanical Inspector

Job Description: Looking for Mechanical Inspector responsible for Mechanical QC inspection activities of various assemblies and sub systems to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Inspection and testing of mechanical components and sub-assemblies.
  • Perform wiring/connectivity inspection of sub and final-assemblies.
  • Review vendor supply certifications and first article inspection reports for accurate completion of documentation.
  • Involve in sub-parts inspection, sub-assembly inspection.
  • Inspects materials, products and work in progress for conformance to specifications and adjusts process or assembly equipment to meet standards.
  • Tests and measures finished products, components or assemblies for functioning, operation or accuracy to verify adherence to functional specifications.
  • Records test results and inspection data and compares findings with specifications to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Adhere to AS 9100D Standards.
  • Maintain daily QC inspector reports.
  • Ability to understand various mechanical standards
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks.
  • Should have knowledge in Unit Assembly and Post Inspection

QC Inspection Engineer

Job Description: The individual will be responsible for inspecting electronic components, assemblies, and finished products, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications, identifying defects, and recommending corrective actions.

  • Carry out incoming material, in process assemblies and final product for quality, defect and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections of assembled PCBs using appropriate equipment to identify defects like solder quality issues, missing or misplaced components, and other visual damage.
  • Inspect solder joints for both Through-Hole and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) defects, ensuring proper solder flow, bridging, and voids.
  • Segregate and identify boards with defects, accurately document the nature and location of each defect, and provide reports as per relevant inspection report.
  • Verify the value, polarity, and placement of components on the PCB, ensuring they match the design specifications and bill of materials.
  • Assist in testing PCBs for failures and perform repairs or rework to correct identified defects.
  • Ensure that all inspections and processes adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Co-ordinate with 3rd party inspectors / inspection agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, defects, and corrective actions.
  • Inspection, acceptance & clearance of manufactured components/assemblies at vendor/sub-contractor premises.
  • Ensure product performance by involving in stage wise functional testing as per ATP / QTP.
  • Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective action report and ensure issues are addressed and resolved.
  • Carry out process auditing.
  • Collaborate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers to identify and resolve quality related issues
